Our research team is changing the way processing, recycling and upgrading of hydrocarbon products is done.

Our R&D has been focused on recycling and upgrading of the waste based on the crude oil products and production (oil sludge, waste plastics and lubricants), via their tertiary - material recycling.

The recycling of oil sludge arising from the extraction, transportation and processing of crude oil and the waste recycling from crude-oil based products such as rubber, oils or plastics are the areas for which the BlowDec® process was originally developed. 


Since then, additional use cases for upgrading the natural and refinery heavy hydrocarbons have been tested and proven to be viable for the use of the technology, making it a completely unique solution that is flexible to the composition of the input waste material.

Depending on the input waste material, the application of the technology is multi-faceted. 

Some areas of use of the BlowDec® technology, such as the recovery of hydrocarbons from acid sludge from the refining of oils with sulfuric acid (tars), have no alternatives that are economically viable today.
